It’s been a productive few weeks here at Lavvus. We’ve been quietly rolling out improvements across the board, some behind-the-scenes fixes, some long awaited features and today we’re excited to share what’s new.

🛠 Bug Fixes & UI Polish

Let’s start with the essentials. We've fixed several issues related to embedded blog posts, ensuring they display correctly across platforms and devices. Whether you’re sharing your posts on social media or embedding them into another site, things should now look and behave as expected.

We also gave the user interface a refresh, with a special focus on the Markdown editor. It’s now cleaner, faster, and much more intuitive to use, whether you’re drafting a quick thought or composing a long-form article. The improved syntax highlighting and live preview make writing feel smooth and focused.

🚀 Introducing the Lavvus API

Now, for the big one. One of the most consistent requests we’ve received since launch has been: “Can I post to my blog through an API?”

The ideas behind these requests were inspiring. Some users wanted to post their Strava rides as daily entries, others planned to log their code changes directly from their dev environments, and one user even dreamed up a bot that would auto-publish AI-generated haikus every morning at sunrise.Anyways, we loved the creativity and we've built the feature.

Today, we’re launching the Lavvus API that allows you to:
• Create new blog posts
• Retrieve existing posts
• Edit existing posts
• Delete old posts you no longer want live

This opens the door for full automation and integration with your workflows. Whether you’re building a personal journaling pipeline, syncing data from other platforms, or just prefer writing in your own editor, the API gives you that flexibility.

You’ll find documentation and examples in your account settings under the “API” tab—ready to go.

💬Feedback Always Welcome

As always, Lavvus is growing with your input. If you run into issues, have suggestions, or want to show us what you’ve built we’re listening. This platform only gets better because of people like you who take the time to share ideas.

Thanks for using Lavvus. More to come soon.
